“It's a typically weak, ill thought out letter as I'd expect from the good old rabble rousing, xenophobic Daily Mail. 'Let's Make England Great Again Ra, Ra, Ra', 'We won the War', 'They'll be nothing without us', 'Johnnny foreigner just wants us for our money'” I don’t think you’ll find many sensible Leavers (probably a contradictio n in terms in...

Yes, actually he does, and boy what a lifestyle it supports for those with their snouts in the trough.
A fortnight ago I was invited for lunch in the Council of Europe/ Conseil de l'Europe headquarters in Strasbourg, we were in its best restaurant (there are others) and it was fantastic, the place settings were immaculate, we seemed to have three waiters just for our table of 4, we started with complimentary champagne, then paté de fois followed by (I won't go on) but three, 5 star courses. This was just a normal weekday. I didn't pick up the tab, but I know it is very heavily subsidised.
I asked who it might be tucking in at the next table and I was told, 'judges'. I think you missed your way there NJ :0)

Yes I was not on the list, Khandro. I know now (as if I didn't previously) why our leaving negotiations (and just about everything else the Euromaniacs conduct) take place over "dinner". In this country we often scoff at the likes of African despots indulging in huge opulence whilst their "subjects" live in poverty. Our EU masters are no better.
