Peter....there is no doubt whatsoever, that Bennell is a dangerous paedophile. He has already served sentences for his activities in American and Britain.

As has already been pointed out, he has admitted some charges. So I have no doubt whatsoever, that this truly disgusting man will die in prison.

Peter....Bennell is a disgusting paedophile....no amount of clever defence is going to alter that. Even if he gets off with the charges that he is in Court for, the ones that that he is admitting will still suffice to make sure he dies in Prison.

a "clever" defence should not be - "erm you have to show that my client has done what you say he has done"

But those boys might not have been believed back then, as other paedophile attacks on kids have shown....Savile, Smith, et al.

Which is why we need to listen to the kids today.

Bennell got away with what he did because society in general, and organised football in particular allowed him to.

Bennell was by no means the only man who took advantage of the young boys and the situation they were in. George Ormand, Eddie Heath, and others....all sanctioned by organised football to work with kids.
