Are all comedians VB lefties?
Answers
I stumbled on it a couple of weeks ago and was horrified what it has become, young 'comedians' being vicious and nasty without any political knowledge, and highly edited to canned laughter. They must be the darlings of the BBC swamp, which is in bad need of draining.

Maybe the point is that most of our right-wing politicians are already caricatures of corrupt self-serving incompetents.
(Brexit Bulldog, anyone)?
Or that the comedians you favour (Jim Davidson, Bernard Manning) have become caricatures of misogynistic, racist, homophobes.
We appears to have reached the appalling situation point where even someone who is prepared to routinely accuse random strangers of being Nazi collaborators ("VB Leftie"), believes that a genuine right-wing comedian is a caricature.
Absolutely extraordinary!
TTT, you ask me to hang on...
You are the one who routinely and repeatedly accuse the 48% of voters as being unpatriotic. As being not-British. As being Nazi sympathisers.
If you want me to refer to your previous comments I can,
I was always taught that the older generation had manners and showed respect to others.
As the n00b here. I've tried to show respect, but your casual insults, your repeated suggestions that I am a Nazi sympathiser; your easy generalisations that I and others do not love our country, or that we have non-British ancestry, have shown that you are not deserving of any respect.
Thank you and goodnight.

kidas: "You are the one who routinely and repeatedly accuse the 48% of voters as being unpatriotic. As being not-British. I use that phrase as a parallel to the Vichy French so I am calling you EU sympathisers, which I think you'll agree is accurate. I use the term for those who collaborate with an unelected corrupt foreign power to undermine their own nation. It seems a pretty apposite label to me but I welcome your suggestions for improvement.
Also, you have indeed been constructive and polite, thank you for that.

If I were you, I'd drop the allusion to Vichy France. Whilst you may think it's a reference those who collaborate with an unelected corrupt foreign power to undermine their own nation, historians have come round to the conclusion that the Vichy government were willing participants in the Holocaust.
Before the Nazis ever demanded the Vichy government participate in anti-Semitic policies, the French had enacted policies that removed Jews from civil service and began seizing Jewish property.
The Vichy French government participated willingly in the deportations and did most of the arresting (of Jews).
The comparison between those who support our continued role in Europe (willingly) and those who capitulated to Nazis is just wrong. It's insulting, and it seems to be something that you might've picked up somewhere else on the Internet.
I think (personal opinion) that it serves little purpose here.

Just a reflection of The Brussels Broadcasting Company in general. They are going to get away with it on "comedy" shows for the juvenile. It shows just how brazen they are though when they maintain the bias on so called serious programmes.
//Of 4,275 guests talking about the EU on Today between 2005 and 2015, only 132 (3.2 per cent) were supporters of leaving. And an analysis of four weeks of the programme in October and November last year found that it carried 97 interviews on EU topics, but only nine were with long-term supporters of Brexit.
Looking at Today’s business coverage in late 2016, Civitas found 53 per cent of speakers were anti-Brexit.
In the week of Article 50 being triggered last March, only 6.5 per cent of speakers in Today’s coverage were given space to be pro-Brexit, the report said. An analysis of a selection of Radio 4 programmes called the Brexit Collection found it included no attempts to explore the benefits of leaving, and only 23 per cent of contributors were pro-Brexit./
