Grid girls, aye, that's what's wrong with the current F1 setup.

Everything else is just dandy. When it leaves fre-to-air and their audience evaporates it won't really matter at all though.

This news is *not* actually massive.
The sport has moved on from the days when racing drivers were seen as 'playboys' who liked to have plenty of 'totty' around the pit-lane.

I really cannot see what function they perform other than to garner the interest of blokes who are, notionally at least, there to witness the sporting occasion in the first place.

Absolutely ridiculous. Why are a minority of gobby extreme men hating feminists allowed to dictate how the rest of us should think? From what I've heard these girls all love their job but now they have to find some other way to make a living just because of some miserable, up-their-own-backside women who think they are morally superior to any woman using their looks to make a living. JTH, do you not think it should be the choice of the girls/women doing it though? Why shuld these 'feminists' put people out of work (work they themselves could not get of course).

Seems to me that most of the complainers are middle class fugly harridans spouting their vile hatred through contorted faces. I do wonder if there is an element of jealousy that girls can be very successful and get the attention of me.
