Unfortunately many of the new words are short-lived, never to be heard of again.
I’m somewhat suspicious of the calibre of those choosing the new words – within the last few years I recall the word ‘Wicked’ finding its way on to the list of new words (with the definition of the word as used by Lenny Henry and others back in the 1970s).
During this century, I don’t believe I’ve heard the word used with that meaning – having become passé way back when.

It's not new anyway, just recycled.

I like the word.
We've needed a word for the overly sensitive and for those that get offended on behalf of those that are not offended for a while, so I'm pleased we've got one. Plus it gets up the noses of the snowflakes.
We've got a few on this site, and whilst I'm sure the snowflakes on this site will not recognise it in themselves, you only have to look at the grid girls thread to spot them.
Good article I thought - and loved the comment "But there is a far darker side to it than mere idiocy", and some of the examples provided are just too bedwettingly pathetic to have been believed a few short years ago (jazz hands instead of clapping as clapping can induce anxiety!!!).

I am sorry to see a beautiful word likes snowflakes being used in this way. How slushy!
poor Yoko protested in the Times about using "Beatle John" (who was such a beautiful man, talented singer etc) as a term for one of the ISIS torturers - "when ever Beatle John was around there wer random beatings violence and abuse". She couldnt get her head around there were four of them and they beat people
