Where's the mother Why did this *** have contact with the child //An examination of the girl showed eight healed fractures, including to her femur, wrist, collarbone and ribs.// Was this child on the radar?
So glad the grandparents called his bluff and phoned the police. I, also, hope that his fellow inmates find out why he has been jailed and at least isolate him.
When reading these types of story, I don’t know about anyone else, but I think about what sentence will be delivered right when I’m in the first paragraph.
17 years is not long enough for what he put that poor child through. I also question where the mother was in all of this, but she has never been mentioned. Hope the bairn is in a safe place now.
Not long enough, but he won't do it anyway. Whatever the sentence is you have to halve it and then subtract 20% to get anywhere near the actual time served.
