Think there are more areas in Staffordshire, especially Stoke on Trent that are fast becoming No Go areas than most places in the UK,

^ I was offered a chance to move jobs to Stoke on Trent.They gave ne a 3 day introduction course there. One of the nicest places I have seen in the UK. I was not happy when the job fell through as I was looking forward to moving. Fewer 'black faces' than here in Hertfordshire and very friendly.

The mines were closing then? I used to see more black faces in 8hrs of work than if I was watching Zulu. Not all friendly mind.

I just quoted a fact that I saw fewer 'black faces' in Stoke than here at home.
It was the ICL Kidsgrove plant Nalit.They were going to transfer me to there. Put me and the Mrs up in a hotel for 3 days. Too long ago to remember details it was the 1980s.
