If I was an MP (Moderate Lab) I reckon all that would be left would be either to leave the party (who could stand for office with Corbyn in charge with a clear conscience after this week?) or to stand as a Labour Independent.

If the hard-liners start de-selecting "mainstream" Labour MP's before the next election they will find that the current MP's have no choice but to stand against a Labour candidate as an independent.

I thought Keir Starmer was outstanding on Question Time. A huge contrast between his forthright, clear views and Corbyn's shifty and mealy-mouthed mumbling.

I don't think that honest, traditional 'old Labour moderates' have anywhere to go now - except to form a Caucasus of Independent Labour M.Ps. They would have to stand against momentum-nominated candidates. It's not good.

But last year despite his own MPs being against him, and most of the media, Corbyn managed to elimate the Tory majority by winning 21 new seats.

That was mainly because of COB's promise to abolish student fees, which he has since reneged on. If you look at the seats Labour won you will find that they all had a strong student constituency.

Ref. the student-fee lies; you can't really blame the innocence of youth for believing that when a politician says something he actually means it.

As for Momentum, it comprises of middle class naive actors purporting to champion an outmoded class struggle, none of whom have ever done a real day's work in their lives, most of all Corbyn and McDonnell.

You really think the student vote swung 21 seats to Labour? Most of Labours gains were from the SNP, and not in University towns.

I’ve supported Labour all my life but no way will I do so as long as Corbyn and co rule.
And one reason for that is that, actually, they have no policies. No agenda. Only class war rhetoric.
Khandro is right about momentum: many are middle class warriors. Directing things from the comfort of their cosy living rooms.
