I have already admitted that there is no connection between the two situations, and the fact that I was using the two as comparisons.

I am minded not to aid AOG in derailing the thread, so this is my last word on this aspect of site management -

No Mod is ever going to admit on site that they have deleted a post, that will instantly derail any thread from then on.

AOG has a personal dislike of me, which is fine, and he uses it to accuse me of abuse of my position, and infer that I should be banned from debating - which is not fine.

If he, or anyone else, wants to take issue with moderation, them the correct way to do that is to contact the Editorial team.

It is not appropriate to sling incorrect allegations around, which simply diverts the thread and loses potential contributions from AB'ers who are tired of this level of pointless nasty nonsense.
