No doubt you would want the accomplice to get trauma therapy. Get real. They broke into someone's property and wanted to relieve him of goods he had probably worked hard for and you are feeling sorry for them. No sympathy whatsover and dogooders like you make me so mad. He got what he deserved.

Spath is on the windup again!
perhaps spath in hindsight the old man should have asked them to sit down make em a cuppa and a bit of cake then show them around the house pointing out where all his valuables were! "go on lads help your self"!
jeez!!
I'd buy the chap a drink, TTT.....
Was it a knife? I can't see that in the report I'd read.....I assumed it was the weapon the burglar had brought and was holding...can anyone put me right?

Whilst I understand that an arrest is inevitable due to a death I cant get the charge of murder. Surely it can only be manslaughter at the very worst (ignoring the obvious self defence)?

Spath, have you read the article? The elderly pensioner was threatened with a stabbing implement - a screwdriver. As yest we dont know how the nam was stabbed but it is clearly self defence.

If you live by the sword you can die from it as this savage piece of scum has found out.
Well, at least it gets us posting, eh? :o(

///( i have much better things to do)///
Is it too much to hope that you could go and do them, then?
I think being in someone else's house and attacking them with a sharp implement is giving "implied consent" to winding up very dead.
//If that was the case he wouldn't be in prison and might be still enjoying his possessions. No good to him in a cell are they?//

Hes not in prison. Hes in police custody.
Spath....who introduced the weapon into this...and what was the weapon?
@ummmm Spath is on the windup again!
you aint wrong there!
So what is your opinion Spath?

From the posts you have made you really do seem to think that if some one waltzes into your property you should give them everything they ask for and not defend yourself at all?

With that attitude just how long would you expect society to survive?

>no doubt the F0C5 will be along soon to defend the thieving scum.

Who are what are the FOC5, TTT?
