I assume you are talking about Rudd, she has not resigned as an MP, only as Home sec. An MP cannot resign they have to apply for the Chiltern Hundreds or such like.
with any luck she'll make a resignation speech akin to that mage by Geoffrey Howe, in which she'll kick 7 metaphorical bells out of her boss......
If every MP that mucked up resigned there would be no Parliament.

Don't nut any of them stay to clear up the mess they make?
O god they dont resign from parliament silly !

think of the expenses - and yes I do think MPs are greedy and self-interested

depends on the reason for the resignation
heseltine never got a job ( independently rich )

Profumo ( Christine Keeler's luffer) never worked again - you know his chat-up line for girls was:
have you ever been to bed with a 70 y o - I can recommend it

Woodrow Wyatt ( 1970) became the Voice of Reasonb in the News of the Screws

displaced and unwanted MPs get a severance allowance because it is recognised that other people wont want them as well
Geoffrey Howe's attacks were likened to being mauled by a dead sheep

Don't nut any of them stay to clear up the mess they make?

yeah Callaghan 1967 after the disaster of devaluation

themed by anyone who doesnt want to give up the job - like Amber Rudd
Peter...why do you so often bring up irrelevant things?
Sharon - you usually find that any MP has made enough business contacts during their time in office that there will be someone who will employ them.

He does, doesn't he!!

Thanks for all answers, not like being sacked and still have to face the same crowd. Embarrassing.
The idea that a professional liar or 'politician' would show or feel the slightest hint of embarrassment in any situation is risible.

Trebles all round and on with the constituency 'work'.
