London Mayor Khan Refusing To Go On Itvs Gmb To Be Interviewed About Violence In London
What does it say about Sadiq Khan that he refuses to go on ITVs Good Morning Britain to be interviewed about the increased violence and murders on London’s streets since he started as mayor? Should he not face up to the situation....or quit?

His biggest problem is that he was an advocate of removing stop and seach. It certainly does now appear that decision was flawed so there is no way he would want to be interviewd as that is where it would go.
To be fair to him he is limited in what he can do but rather than Banging on about Brexit and Trump maybe if he put the same effort into banging on about this and took more walks around London bouroughs with the issue instead of touring the US he might escape the critism.

He was not elected to entertain ITV viewers. Appearing on GMB won’t achieve anything, so his time is better used elsewhere.
Livingstone and Johnson were not exactly breakfast TV regulars either.
Last years London under Mayor Khan, delivered the lowest murder rate for 50 years,so his record is good. The recent increase is more likely due to central Government rather than anything Khan has done (or not done).
