Finally we have a conviction for forced marriage, but before we celebrate at finally some common sense will the Judiciary use this case to set an example?
IMHO this girl was raped at 13 years old by the man she was betrothed to so surely this should add a few more years as the mother was complicit in this disgusting act?

Previously courts have refused to proceed with prosecution, putting it down to the 'Traditions' of the Muslim wedding system. The actual sentence is somewhat beside the point, the main thing is that this has finally been recognised as a crime.
