I’m really not sure how I feel on this one.

One the one hand everyone should enjoy what is on offer but on the other, What is a reasonable adjustment? Any establishment can’t be all things to all men. There has to be a point at which you say we can’t cater for ‘someone’ with a specific need.

I suppose I would ask how much profit a year does this establishment make and how much actual demand is there this type of toilet and how much use would it get? Then make a judgement based on that.

On the other hand perhaps the campaigner in this case should fundraise the estimated £40,000 needed to build the toilet.

Cobras, you cannot cater for every possible combination of needs.
"Boy sues theme park"? - you mean bl00d sucking lawyer encourages boys family to seek compo!

The mother is in the campaign group changing spaces or something like that so it is another of those publicity hungry groups again.
Theme parks make loads of money, so £40,000 - or £10,000 as the mother says it will cost - is peanuts to the park and would not cost jobs. I think they should just do it and enjoy the good publicity and happier disabled customers.
I'm not sure what I think about the boy sueing though. Smacks of greedy lawyers, I agree, TTT

The boy can’t sue. His mother is under the guidance of the campaign group changing spaces.

I tend to agree that theme parks appear to make a lot of profit. But that is the main biggies. What about the less known and less popular ones? I really have no idea but on the face of it they could afford it. I just think that no business can be all things to all people.
Maybe they can afford it(although profits from what I can see are not massive) but what is then next?

And it's not just the initial outlay either. Cleaning maintenance and replacement together with the fact it potentially takes space something revenue making could be using also need to be factored in.

As providing such amenities costs so much why not charge the users a reasonable fee for each use?
perhaps the theme park should just offer to pay for (say) 10 x hiring the toilet they take with them when they go
Parents know the needs of their children & should equip themselves as required.
