Puzzled though regarding the Vimto question. According to Wiki Vimto has only been made in the town alluded to for 17 of its 108 year history - hardly a fact that most of us would know and I'm sure the town has more famous events/people.

Yes Mamya; I am from around those parts and it has been my favourite soft drink forever - just think there would be greater things in the town's history. (The monument to Vimto is even in the next borough - where they started).

When I watch the chase for eg.. my general knowledge is pretty good and when in the company of others 'how do you know that...' I have backing of it but were really a little lost on that one.

In fairness the things associated with the places came from the locals themselves. I thought in most cases tho there was one ‘giveaway’ which made it eminently guessable. I think I’d only have got Portsmouth and possibly Aylesbury without the options.
