One thing is for sure, they will come to regret this big-time in the not-too-distant future.
I expect they'll prefer them to the legless expats acting like they own the place :)
Spain is a country still in deep economic trouble. It's likely the refugees on this ship will move on to try and find peace and a measure of prosperity in another European country.

^^^^^^^ Kval....that was an undeserving, foolish and misinformed remark, unworthy of you.
legless expats spend lots of money.
Probably Sqad, but I've been wrangling the remnants of the SS who seem to be alive and well and residing in answerbank all morning, plus I'm tired as I've been up all night, so woe betide all today. No offence meant to you personally, I'm sure there are lots of lovely people living in Spain who are not Spanish, but everytime I go to Spain all I see is expats behaving like they own the place.
Right.
For those on the other "600 immigrants" topic we had this morning, where some people on AB seemed happy to accept more immigrants in to this country.

Sadly when you do THIS is the sort of thing that happens:

You honestly think these migrants will stay in Spain??!!!!

They all wanna come here!!!!!
Might have been best kept to one thread but never mind.
Is that along with the literally thousands of immigrants that just get jobs, open businesses and pay their taxes Guilbert?

We don't need no stinkin' tourist money. What we need is more penniless migrants. Y Viva España!
//The UN refugee agency and the EU had both called for a swift end to the stand-off between the two countries.//

It's easy to call for a swift end to a stand off, but does the UN and EU then provide the money to support the 'refugees/migrants'.

Furthermore, once landed in Spain what will prevent the people concerned from moving on with a view of settlement in the most 'soft-touch' country of the EU; namely the UK.

Hans.
