“No, I think if we’re true to our promises that we’ve made in our manifesto – and the mandate that we got from the referendum, which was to take back control over our borders, our laws and our money – I think we ought to on the Brexit side be flexible about the bridge to that end state,” he says."
sounds like independence to me, and judging by some of the above comments to others also..in fact although not all on this board, I'd say 17million or so !..

"Leaving" means not being a member state. If we're no longer a member state, then we have left.
Plenty of states that aren't in the EU participate in the single market or customs union - these are not things which are completely synonymous with membership of the EU. But it's never enough. It's never, ever enough.

If we are still under control, whether we have the title 'member state' or not, we would still be in the EU. Remainers need to understand they fool no one trying to get us off the 'member state' list but still dictated to. To do so would still be a betrayal of the public's referendum result, and everyone knows this.
Hmmm...
"Dominic Raab, a Brexit-supporting minister, has been promoted to replace David Davis as Brexit secretary, No 10 has announced.
Raab was previously housing minister and replaces Davis, who resigned late on Sunday night saying he could no longer support the government’s Brexit policy announced at Chequers last week."
If Rabb is Brexit supporting, what's he doing accepting a job where May offers to give in again to the EU ? That doesn't sound very Brexit supporting. On the contrary. Unless he thinks he can swing things around, which seems less likely than him being there as a personal career choice.
