//when will this madness stop ? //

Not until Mrs May - or anyone else who finds themselves with the job of managing Brexit - stops trying to please everyone - and starts respecting democracy and the result of the referendum.
Traitors basically.
Who are traitors?
No Not traitors, just standing up for what they think is wrong!
Theresa May HAS stopped trying to please everyone. So the ‘losing side’ is throwing a strop. Was always going to happen no matter what she did. These are gesture resignations by people who don’t be missed.
The 'losing side'? Who would they be then?
Plainly the people who don’t like the position outlined at Chequers
Seems to me the 'losing side' are the people who won. Mrs May really should stop trying to please the real losers and give the winners their winnings.
[i]people who won’t be missed.[i]

yes, not exactly household names, are they. Still, it sounds as if the Tories have hundreds more where those came from.
Of course Michael Gove the ‘maoist’ Brexiter is (at the time of writing) still in the government. And Dominic Raab, one of the original Brexiter campaigners, has actually come on board. So I think there’s a certain amount of nonsense being spouted about Armageddon.
No one fears the likes of Peter Bone ...
And ‘foxy’ Fox still there ;-)
Good for them. They have principles and are honest enough to stick with them.
If May cannot see the writing on the wall by now she really needs to get to Specsavers.
Indeed JD. My main concern is if she 'fixed' this hellish document beforehand with all the EU. I find it hard to believe that she went to Merkle before her own party - that showed he true loyalty. I've not used the word before, but I now can't escape 'Quisling' hovering on my tongue.

My main hopes rest on Barnier & Co rejecting this white paper. If not, activists are re-grouping.
Now is a good time for a G/E , the CONs can not win , they aint got any MPs to vote for. P M S L.
Very bad time for an election.
"...they aint got any MPs to vote for"

Just a point of pedantry, but when there is a General Election no party will have any MPs to vote for because Parliament will have been dissolved some weeks earlier. Just thought I mention it.
Another point of pedantry in response to gulliver’s confusion. MPs who resign from any given post don’t cease to represent their constituencies. They remain Members of Parliament. Keep buying the Tena Lady.
As has been said, MPs only cease to be MPs on the dissolution of parliament. If a minister resigns his office he is still MP for his constituency.
Now is a very good time for a General Election, Now is a very good time for a second Referendum. , and if we win the World , even better, Bring it all on .
" Its Coming Home ".
