It is very rare to see one of London's killers caught and convicted, at one time if a murder was committed there would be a mass police investigation until the murderer was caught and convicted, now it seems a rare occasion, could it be that because most of London's escalating murders are committed by ethnic minorities, and the police do not want to be labelled racist? It has happened in the past.

If you think that may be the case then i don't think anything we say will convince you otherwise.
I wonder whether the term 'ethnic minority' is right here- do you mean black/brown?- since the 'minorities' are actually teh majority in some of these areas

It's a convenient supposition, that rising crime by 'ethnic minorities' is not prosecuted because of fears of accusations of racism.
Convenient - but highly unlikely to be true.
After all, which is more likely to damage the police profile, and the public's faith in the organisation - fears of racism accusations, of fear of avoiding racism accusations by not prosecuting criminals on the basis of ethnicity?
Not hard to work out the answer.

Isn't that what happened over the Asian/Pakistani, grooming gangs?
The perpetrators; predominantly Muslim Pakistani men. The crimes; not dealt with by authorities for years, because police and local councils did not want to be accused of racism.

Well it seems that the Met Police Commissioner has come up with the answer, Investigations into these murders are met with 'a wall of silence' from the 'community' and that officers faced a "challenging environment".
