Is it any different to protesting against a travellers camp or the construction of certain other buildings?

/// He added: 'Worcester enjoys positive relationships among its diverse communities and we will continue to work with our partners to build on this in the future.' ///

In other words "we will continue to kowtow to certain groups".

Are the edl ever going to google and UNDERSTAND what a //peaceful// March is without it descending into incoherent anger, violent chaos and anarchy?

Men in masks, a riot, police and police horsesvbeaten,Hopefully this uneducated oik was one of The arrested.

Were those EDL members solely from the Worcester branch? You know, those who might have had legitimate concerns....

Or were they a 'bussed-in' rabble who simply relished the opportunity to inflame a situation?
There were recently objections to a new and much larger Mosque/Community Centre close to me, all done via the proper channels.

It will actually be a huge improvement on an ugly site of derelict land that has sat there for 10 years.

Were these folk locals? Couldn't make much of the video - a bleep fest really.
I’ll be honest,I’ve been threw Worcester and it reminded me of a 3rd world hell hole.

A mosque and its followers would bring some much needed and vibrant culture, colour to Worcester imo.

That should be targeted towards the much larger anti-protest, who threw containers into the much smaller EDL original peaceful protesters. groups

Have a look at the bottom picture, the anti fascists seem to be the ones wearing masks.

And the woman with a placard saying "rage against racism"
1. Islam isn't a race.
2.Rage isn't very peaceful.

Worcester is one of Britain's safest cities.

What turn it into one of those lovely peaceful and safe Middle Eastern cities that are frequently in the news.

Why don't some of you go out and live there if you enjoy Eastern culture so much?

All I see is a large rude and intimidating mob of the usual knuckle dragging cavemen scaring children, pregnant women and the elderly with violent sweary chants, do they have no morals?I’d wonder if the police wasn’t stopping the obviously //rabid for violence// mob from attacking innocent members of the public what would have happened to those 2 young Asian men?
They may peacefully protest if they wish to appear religiously intolerant. No it's nothing like allocating a local place to be a tip with caravans. It's a place of worship.

Open your eyes a bit. In this video there just seems to be a bunch of, perhaps not overly educated, men not wearing masks to hide in fact being interviewed clearly.

They are entitled to their view as much as you are of yours. Why dont you hop on a bus and go support the Mosque building if you feel that strongly?

"It's a place of worship. "

Whilst many are others have been havens of hate, murder and destruction.

Even palaces attract vermin but is it the inanimate buildings fault of is it the food we left out?
Any place can be abused. Perhaps it's a reason to protest any building. And a mosque is not a prerequisite to meeting up and discussing hate.

Well it seems that it is only you that can see and hear any of that.

What are the Elderly, Children and Pregnant Women doing tied up in this protest? But they are not are they? But it helps you to sensationalise your agenda, just like the 'rude knuckle dragging cavemen' description.

/// I’d wonder if the police wasn’t stopping the obviously //rabid for violence// mob from attacking innocent members of the public what would have happened to those 2 young Asian men? ///

Notice the difference from the nasty 'knuckle dragging cavemen'

And those nice and peaceful Young Asian Men.

If ever there was an intimidating mob, there's one for you.

It is not only the building, but do we want our English Villages, Towns or Cities, to posses skylines that reflect your typical Islamic city, with its minuets and calls for pray.

Being a lover of England I would much rather heat the bells and chimes of our ancient churches and Cathedrals.

Didn't many die to protect our English heritage? Why are we giving it away so easily now?

Having allowed some to come, the least we could do is allow religious buildings. They aren't going to be everywhere so the view spoiling concern seems out of proportion. One should be more concerned with the isolated communities due to lack of true integration with the rest of society.
Regatding churches and cathedrals, wasn't St Paul's based on an eastern-like design ? The dome isn't much criticized for spoiling the view these days.

I am not saying that they don't want buildings in which to pray, but there are enough now, unless our Muslim population are growing, thus the need for more and more and more.

If local people wish to protest, that is their right.

It is not, however, the right of nasty brutish thugs to turn out and shout their bigoted nonsense and stir up trouble as they usually do.

As far as I am concerned, the 'English Defence League' wear their arrogance on their banners.

It will be a cold day in hell before I will ever wish for a bunch of arrogant self-appointed sub-football hooligans to 'defend' England for me.
