You could look on the website of William Hills or BET 365 etc to see what odds they have.
i don't think it will happen here but I'd like to see it considered.

Fiction I think paddypower is giving better odds.
I imagine it will unfortunately be considered after Brexit when the loons are left in charge.
The Georgians had an efficient way of dealing with people whose faces could not be recognised. Being seen out after dark with yur face blacked up became capital offence.

Rockrose, //I imagine it will unfortunately be considered after Brexit //

Why unfortunately? What other aspects of Islam's suppression of females do you admire?
Good post naomi

Except I think all these, 'millions' of women want to wear the burka... don't they?
Of course it isn't millions in the UK but it is incredible that 'millions' of women in many countries share a passion for this garment.
They love it, Talbot .... especially those whose husbands, fathers, brothers and sons won't allow them out of the house without it. Such fun!
I know who it won't be - US !
Oh I don't know; under Trump ...
^ lol.
No woman should be told what they can or cannot wear by husbands brothers fathers or politicians.
But they should, as we all should, comply with a dress code that has rational genuine reasons behind it, such as not hiding your identity by hiding your facial features in public. Plus, having been brainwashed as kids to hide away they may need help to break that dependence on hiding and feeling a need to do it.
I think i agree with OG. If it were banned by the state I can see why you'd feel that was a restriction on the women's freedom Rockrose, but it could help reduce the number of cases where men are forcing women to wear it. I wonder, though, what happens in countries that ban it if the woman's defence is that her husband co-erced her into wearing it against the law.
Rockrose, //No woman should be told what they can or cannot wear by husbands brothers fathers or politicians. //

But they are and that isn't going to change so why is a ban 'unfortunate'? Support for Islam and its foibles never ceases to amaze me. What's good about any of it?
I don't think disapproving of the state telling people what and what not to wear implies supporting "Islam and all its foibles".
Or maybe the comment was not related directly to your previous sentence.
I hope this thread doesn't descend into another what's good about any of Islam- it's better if we just stick to the topic of covering faces in public
fiction-factory, If you defend the burqa, you’re enabling the system that imposes it.
