“Not really sure why folk are getting the hump,…”
There are two reasons why I have got the hump. Firstly, it strikes me as very odd that the survey (or consultation, call it what you will) was sufficiently well advertised in mainland Europe such that 4.6m people responded whereas in the UK the response was only 15,000. I don’t think that can be purely down to apathy especially as virtually nobody on here (many of whose ears prick up at the very mention of the letters “EU”) had heard about it.
Then there’s this:
“…. we'll not be affected anyway.”
Mrs May’s current plans for Brexit, if enacted, will see us in a state of purgatory and we’ll be bound by just about anything the EU dictates. The last thing she will want to rock the boat over is changing our clocks.
“Get up later, go to bed later, start work later, dosnae sound to bad”
Strangely, whether by accident or design, you left out “finish work later”.
