I was privately educated and spent my childhood in a seven bedroom house.
Now I earn £140,000 a year (plus expenses), live in a house worth around £750,000 house and have a pension pot pension pot worth over £1M.

It could be very worrying.

In the scheme of things I'd say you are comfortable and should be able to support yourself in old age. However to Jezza and the Sturmabteilung you would be considered "rich" and as such would be plundered heavily. Oddly enough Jezza himself is on £140k ish isn't he? I would not consider you rich though, can't get a decent Gin palace for a start!

I too was privately educated, had dance lessons and a privileged upbringing, have a large pension and live in a house worth over a million - so what do you want to carry on bragging - someone will always be able to better you!
