My gut reaction is no it isn't, of course those in Court had the finer details (I don't want them) one can only hope the sentence and placing on the register makes him seriously rethink his ways.

I think it's clear what both Danny and me mean by that, there is a huge range within that description - whilst none of them are permissible or acceptable they do vary in their nature.

I reiterate my initial gut reaction was 'not long enough' based on the scant facts.

Without knowing what the assaults were I wouldn't like to say, sexual assault ranges from touching someone's leg in a sexual way to far more serious things, but glad he's been put away and hopefully he won't do it again.

First of all it isn't 2 years. You always have to halve the sentence to get the real sentence.

Anyone can do this kind of thing isn't going to be miraculously cured of it, so we can only hope he gets a more appropriate sentence the next time he does it, which will probably be in about a year's time.
