Why is the EU briefing UK parties ? Sounds like fifth column activity.
The way forward is for the EU to finally unveil their credible suggestion for the border, and stop with any more joke ones. But I suspect they'll just sit there demanding another UK one so they can reject again.
I think you’ll find it’s for the UK to do that.
I don’t see what the issue is with having this briefing. People in NI are rightly concerned and not just the so called ‘Remain’ parties. Talk of fifth columns err is nonsensical tho I readily admit that both sides have the potential for looniness: I’ve just left a Remain Facebook page they was discussing the feasibility of a general strike to stop Brexit. I mean for heavens sake.
This is where Cameron’s referendum has landed us. No wonder we don’t hear from him these days ...
It's for all to come up with a solution for peace; particularly those who claim they were formed for peace. It's nobody's place to sit there rejecting everything and apparently making no effort. The ball's been in the EU court for ages. May's even gone over to their court to offer a potential EU suggestion for the UK to reject, but so keen were they that they forgot themselves and rejected it themselves first.
A common feeling in Ireland as a whole is that Brexit was effective England (ok with little brother Wales tugging at her skirts) declaring UDI and basically saying *** you to the rest of the British Isles. And, you know, it’s hard to disagree sometimes
The politics show today. One guy nailed it. Undemocratic EU positioning itself to punish us, and using Ireland as the means. Time to get really tough and crash out.
