If ever proof was needed that she was only after the money.

He was found not guilty but she still pursued the money, and got it. Scottish Justice as it works.

When Legal Aid Scotland takes the £80,000 off her, I'll come back and admit I'm wrong.
///Miss M told BBC Scotland it was highly unlikely she would see any of the money as it would be clawed back to pay legal costs.///

The monies will be paid directly to her legal team, who will then pay the relevant disbursements (i.e. repaying the Legal Aid) *before* Miss M sees a penny.
SPICERACK, why would believe anything the SLAB said when you won't believe what they say on their website about reclaiming legal aid?

It's hardly the finer points of Scots law is it? It's not as if the link is to a convoluted Act wrapped up in complex legal phrases is it?

The guidance is from the same folk who granted the legala
who granted the legal aid and if you expect them to give a running commentary on every case involving them, I think you're in for a disappointment.
See, I don't even know what legala means.
Who's Legal Aid Scotland by the way?
///But the court/jury didn't believe her, jack. ///

Incorrect.... if the jury didn’t believe her, He would of been found not guilty.

///1 man (sheriff) sort of believed her on the preponderance of the evidence.///

Incorrect....the sheriff did believe her.
///;a sheriff in a civil action has ruled Mr Coxen raped the woman, known as Miss M,.///
