There are manny, ummmm, who will insist on only seeing the good in people, however faint that glimmer may be, and are willing to accomodate them.

I can think of a couple on here who would welcome the chance to embrace her.

douglas i don't see why, she was given ample opportunities, amazing as that fact is and has declined all of them, sorry but the council should tell her if she doesn't accept one then its nothing at all.

As Talbot said, where I live you used to get 3 offers and if you didn't take one of them you'd go down the list.

But if she goes down the list she's homeless with 2 kids so the council will still have to house her.

I have seen programmes on TV where people are desperate for a home from the Council and will accept anything and there is NO WAY they can pick and choose, so why the hell can this person turn down SEVEN offers of a home ??? Not hard to realise why this country is a laughing stock at times ....

You're welcome, but as you have pointed out, your son is disabled so expert help is needed. The CAB might be a good place to start. As I indicated, landlords, of whatever hue, want their money, and as long as they see a prospect of getting that they are not going to upset the apple cart by evicting people. Tell your son not to worry and take advice.
