The point I am making is that the art does not 'promote' violence, or indeed any action - that is far too simplistic an approach in my opinion.
People act the way they do for a vast variety of seriously complex individual ways based on influenced such as family, genes, personality, background, peer group, and so on and so on.
To simply isolate one form of music, and infer that it 'promotes' a ceretain type of behaviour is complete nonsense.

All white, all students of pretigious American universities, and all convicted murderers.
But no-one links their ethnicity and their higher education qualifications to their crimes - obviously, but in isolation, those factors are not the cause of their crimes - life is just not that simple.

The colour of ones skin has nothing to do with the violence we are discussing.
It is the culture that has emerged in black communities aided and abetted by the likes of Diane Abbot who subscribe to the revolt against British culture on an industrial scale, insisting there is racism where often there is none.
Maybe SP buys into this, talking about white supremacy, because he too is black. A bit confused in his thinking I believe.

edl, why bring edl into this, this about a certain type of black music that glorifies violence and drugs, stop trying to change the subject, as i pointed out lots of black musicians have manged to have brilliant careers without singing about and glorifying violence and drugs.

Because it underlines the futility of your point - black gang members are unlikely to be theatre goers - but then, so are white gang members, which is the point I am making.
I am not trying to change the subject, merely illustrating that your point is incorrect in my view.
