They do not possess a calendar ?
a terribly sad story, but why did they think it a good idea to go there when she was heavily pregnant. I feel sorry for them both however and hope that the crowd funding covers their costs.
I must try this crowdfunding lark.
I hope I'm never in a position like this to need help from strangers.

Hope they get Arlo home soon to bury him.
They put themselves in this position.
They certainly did Sparkly but it's not the done thing to say so.
Okay yes they did, but that doesn't stop us being compassionate to their situation. Have you no pity?
They put themselves at risk and are now begging. Stupid people.
Pity yes, spare cash for foolishness, absolutely not.
I disagree Prudie, it appears to be quite the done thing to say so in as pointed a way as possible, but hey, it's unlikely they are looking in and I doubt they could hurt much more right now.
Maybe the couple didn't start the go fund page. If people want to donate its their business.

i am surprised at the post which smacks a little of hypocrisy.
When it's "our" people, we expect other countries to provide the healthcare. However, when it's "jonny foreigner" coming here and having a baby, there is an outcry about how the NHS is a world health service, not a national one. Especially from the OP.
i am really glad that they raised the money to come home, it is a rubbish situation for them and their family, but also agree that she was rather silly not to be covered by insurance
Totally agree Bednobs

"did, but that doesn't stop us being compassionate to their situation. Have you no pity?"

Of course we have pity and are mainly compassionate..........but pity and compassion do not pay for the running of a hospital or the wages of the staff.
