I am also surprised that the the ringleader is a Sikh - I had them down as reliable and non-threatening (but there is always the oddity I suppose). Point is that these poor girls were treated horribly (anyone else been alone on a Yorkshire moor at night? - I was on a sponsored walk - it is frightening and disorientating). The elephant in the room has been made public - but I doubt that any good will come of it - they are too well dug in.

It isn’t that simple. A victim is rarely able to provide the four male witnesses she needs to support her allegation and is often blamed for enticing the man/men and stoned to death. So much for the wonderful culture we’re importing.

The very short answer to the question is: No. Islam does not require a woman to produce any eye-witnesses to prove that she was raped.
