Wow. That was an uninspiring budget.
Is this a Government that has run out of ideas?

The lefties don't understand that Woofgang. They peep from behind the curtains and watch the neighbours mow the lawn and weed the garden whilst criticising how they are going about it and the tools that they are using. Meanwhile their own garden is rubbish strewn and overgrown with weeds and the grass is knee high.
Don't you have a giant bit of breitbart to copy and paste togo?
It seemed ok to me. Working people get a bit more in their pocket plus the NHS gets more (although I disagree with that many on here wanted it) what more cold you want ?
Gromit must be missing the halcyon days of Saint Tony.
Why does Hammond need to put money into the NHS, when we will be putting £350 million a week into it next March, from Boris's Bus. Remember ?.
Oh Zac how silly you are.

They are our government and we can vote them in or out.

But the kicker is they are better than any of the others so the best of a bad lot.

But I wouldn’t expect you to understand something like that. Especially from your ivory tower of pomposity.
Gulliver do you believe that? Oh I see it was you who believed it and keep trying to make your misconceptions come true.
No I did not Believe it but something like 53% of referendum voters did , yourself included, eh.
'They are our government and we can vote them in or out' is such a naive statement. JD made a comment about the fact that Brexit did us a favour in getting rid of Cameron and Osborne, to which I pointed out that the resultant replacements were no improvement and in the case of the PM, far worse. Oh. and BTW, we didn't get the opportunity to vote for May.....how's that fit with your 'democratic' idealism?

And I'd rather be in an ivory tower of pomposity than a troglodyte's lair of ignorance. You can see what's going on much better from up here.
//we didn't get the opportunity to vote for May//

We didn't get an opportunity to vote for Brown either - but we did have the opportunity to boot him out .... which we did.
And soon ,we will get the chance to boot May out.
You will indeed.
And I'm sure her replacement will be the political equivalent of Gandalf and we'll all be shepherded back to the Shire in time for tea and crumpets by a roaring fire.
Can I have my crumpet on its own, by the roaring fire please ,without the tea.
//And I'm sure her replacement will be the political equivalent of Gandalf and we'll all be shepherded back to the Shire in time for tea and crumpets by a roaring fire.//

All very Freudian after admitting to living in an "ivory tower" or what? The Tolkein link and Isengard anyone? Haha. I though more Tower of Babel myself but Hey Ho. Gifts cannot be ignored.
