Sued By Satan

How pathetic is this? Would a series get sued by the COE if they featured a cross or one of the many churches on camera?
I think the series is pretty good to be honest. Looking forward to season 2.

the Church of England isnt a person who can sue apparently
according to my local vicar
Aha said I - who do you buy land from - when a church is decommissioned ( desanctified what ever the technical word is).
I know you go through the Court of Augmentations
( who do they augment? - Henry VIII's coffers - set up in 1540 to deal with the er decommissioned monasteries)
and he said - Church Commissioners hold that land
and I said ha! that is why your stipend ( =weekly moolah/pay off for a protestant divine) is so teeny-weeny - they lost £100m on unwise investments 20 y ago.
and he said yes I know ....
