It's more chance a lady will ask for a nice pair of underwear for Christmas rather than a man doing the same. Is Anthropology to be completely disregarded due to some jumped up, quite frankly hysterical emotions? No. Science over opinions any day.
women of all ages go to M&S for their underwear, i have in the past, but sadly i must be one of their wimmin who don't find the frilly stuff alluring.
So I have been told Mammy ;-)
Spath I love sexy little knickers, I don't know many women who don't- the issue was the 'must haves' for him was garb where you 'dress to impress', and for her trollopy little brothel panties (which were actually quite nice). If they had arranged their window where the dress to impress had both male and female fully attired mannequins and the sexy undies bit had male and female mannequins, there would have been no issue. As it is it's just nonsensical 'Carry on Film' fare and it's insulting to everyone, not just women and SO dated as a premise.
Earth to Spath.....

The complaint is *not* about the underwear itself.
I would like to make sure people know i quoted "fancy little knickers" from the article.
"knickers display branded 'vomit-inducing'"

Oh ok.. Must be the lack of socks.
"No, people are thick for misunderstanding what the complaint is about. "

No I'm afraid you have not read the posts on here.

Try again.
"and for her trollopy little brothel panties "

Have to take your word for that not being a frequenter of rub and tug shops.
No.
*You* read the first line of the article.....
Earth to JTH, you are misreading the posts.
JTH, which is what i said on my thread about this,
and on this one, some people don't read the links provided.
They are not saying the knickers are outfits to impress. They are saying they're fancy must haves.
JTH you are pompous sometimes.
You say 'pompous'.....I say factually correct.....
Lowe this thread, lowe ur interpretations, we'll let people tell us how it is and assume we haven't read the article.

OK this space is yours, use it wisely.
But you are not JTH. You have not read the posts correctly and jumped to conclusions.

The words have been discussed here, although lets face it it is the whole display that should be looked at to get context.

It is not as if they have that slogan next to 'tarts' outfits is it?
Its about the inequality of the slogans, one depicting women in scanties, whilst men get away with a nice looking man in open shirt.
different slogans, different meanings.
David Gandy can wash my knickers anyday!
