I don't think vegans are morons .Just human beings protesting about something they believe in. The way they go about getting their message over is often bizarre though. I myself have not eaten red meat for over 40years . I hate the way we slaughter animals. Yes , we are at the top of the food chain but whereas the animals lower down kill their prey naturally we humans don't leap on a cow and rip its jugular vein out or disembowel a sheep with our hands and teeth..Instead we use guns, knives, hammers, stun-guns ,electrocution or slit their throats and leave them to bleed to death. And yes ,vegans do have a point with regards to the terror and panic that animals feel when they know they are being driven to their deaths.Their screams are amongst the most terrible sounds to hear .

and God's so-called blessed eat oysters apparently - on the Beeb - they claim that as the creature has no nervous system, then they are kosher. On that basis, there's quite a few on here that they could eat without guilty consciences.

biggest source of methane according to the news are cows, with millions and millions of them emitting methane, so what to do, kill all the cows, that would please the vegan people presumably so we can't at least eat them, then the dairy, farming communities go into meltdown, millions connected to farming go belly up, and then what.

As I said earlier....I didn't eat meat for years but that wasn't for moral reasons, I just didn't like it. I didn't feel the need to tell anyone though.

if the farming industry as a whole was destroyed due to vegan interference, where will their loyalties lie.
millions of people would be on the scrap heap, millions having lost their livelihoods, and everything would change for the worse, long dole queues, farmers committing suicide because they can't ply their trade, and everyone affected right on down the line. Its hypothetical but i don't think some vegans really think things through, on the obvious consequences of no meat. What do with do with dairy land, products, and billions of slaughtered animals.
