IMO Farage is right, though I admire the stance Robinson has made (and I have defended him tirelessly on here), giving him an official position on the UKIP executive, though intellectually and morally right, was not a smart political move at this moment. If Tommy wanted to be a member and be helpful to the UKIP cause, he could pay his membership fee like everyone else and contribute. It is not possible to unravel his 'celebrity' status and all that goes with it.
