An excellent result for all concerned on this occasion. A display of professionalism, restraint,good judgement and a ton or two of luck in so much there was no suicide vest and a trigger in his hand.
I just hope this does not set a precedent andraise future expectations from the public at large.

What are the two white circles on the last photograph? The one on the right seems to be partly behind the police officer's jacket, suggesting a physical object, but the one on the left is floating.
