Parliament have, thankfully, said they will not pass the "deal", the EU has said they will not alter the "deal", so what do Jo Johnson and co expect the PM to do?

There are few decent things she can do. Her deal to legally tie us forever into the EU is unacceptable, giving the losers of the last public vote a second bite of the cherry is unacceptable, renegotiation is off the list of possibles, denying the public their decision to exit as promised is unacceptable, that only leaves letting folk squabble amongst themselves until the deadline when we drop out.

yes, indeed, OG, perhaps the EU will blink if it looks like no deal is going be the default of inactivity. I can't see any point in putting the deal to parliament when we already know it will be rejected.

I'm not sure, obviously, but I would lay down a lot of money on "No Deal" not happening. Whatever the means, Parliament or the government are going to find a way to avoid it.

Quite simply they expect to vote down the deal in double quick time, suspend or extend or even stop A50 and then bicker about it for the next ten years by which time people will be so fed up they simply give up hope of ever being an independent nation ever again.
