Well whilst some focus on those not in power, those who are in power are doing just as bad, if not worse. Anything for a good distraction though.

No.. and as i've said if he did... So? Is that word illegal now? He's not implying she's stupid because she's a woman. It's like saying lady in blue dress... She's not in a blue dress because she's a lady and she's not a lady because she's in a blue dress.
Maybe the tories don't have the maturity for brexit or any power.

spath - // What's the issue?
It's calling a naughty dog, "naughty dog".. That's not offensive to all dogs now.. Just like saying "stupid woman" isn't offensive to all women.
Where is the issue? the discrimination? the offence? //
The offence is that, exactly as on AB, there are rules governing MP's behaviour within the House, and one of them is the use of 'unparliamentary language' - which this was, and Mr Corbyn should apologise for it.

Referring to the Prime Minister, or indeed any lady MP in the House, as a 'stupid woman' is unparliamentary language, it is against the House Rules, and Mr Corbyn should apologise for it.
He won't be unique for being sanctioned in this way, The House operates a system of full-on debate, it is not as place for shrinking violets, but rules are there to be obeyed, and he would have more respect and dignity if he admitted speaking thoughtlessly, apologising, and letting everyone move on.

That's a fact, HereIAm..
In year three if we misbehaved we got told we acted like year 1's. In year 4 we got told we acted like year 3's.. in year 5 we got told we acted like year 4's and s on...
Now, this wasn't true, but it helped us see how immature our behaviour was.
Maybe we should start punishing MPs for shouting out like a hound stuck in a kennel. It would save the speaker having to tell them to shut up, because they can't respect the rules or who is speaking.
Odd how such a small issue has been made so big when we've a massive issue currently that they're pretending is small.
Get em all out lmao it's a *** fest.

AH, "Holders of public office should take decisions solely in terms of the public interest." I'm sure it was in the public's interest to let the PM know what we're all thinking.
The code of conduct does not touch on many direct issues apart from bullying, harassment and sexual harassment. This was neither of those.
IMO, stupid woman, or stupid people, is a fair statement, especially unofficially.

spath - From Wikipedia on the subject of Unparliamentary Language -
"Exactly what constitutes unparliamentary language is generally left to the discretion of the Speaker of the House. Part of the speaker's job is to enforce the assembly's debating rules, one of which is that members may not use "unparliamentary" language. That is, their words must not offend the dignity of the assembly."

Context is the issue here - Mr Corbyn has been castigated for saying what he said while inside the Chamber - that is the issue.
