you mean.. terrorists.//
I meant what I said. “so many Muslim terrorists”.
Ellipsis, //So in this case, have they exposed their own lie by arresting the person they have, given the description they gave out earlier?//
Hmmm…. Lie? I’d call it bending the truth. There’s a lot of it about.

Naomi - // For reasons I've explained more than once, the establishment clearly feels that the promotion and maintenance of social cohesion is paramount which is why appalling crimes have been ignored – and they have – we know that - and why the government has abandoned what I see as a human moral duty in favour of capitulation to the will of madmen. No conspiracy theory there. //
Your post is offered in terms that infer it is a solid truth, but the reality is, it is your opinion based on your assumptions, and that caveat should be included.

I still feel I am no further forward - what I see here is a situation where the police would appear to have offered a description of a possible rapist based on the information offered to them by the victim.
From that, an entire conspiracy theory has ballooned out of control, with a number of people apparently willing to believe that the police's description is in line with a national fear of upsetting cultural minorities, even at the expense of catching a dangerous criminal.
Where on earth has this approach come from? I understand Talbot raising the OP, his willingness to court controversy is matched only by his enjoyment of strong debate, but I am surprised as the strength and volume of agreement his post has raised.

Talbot - // Why take so long with getting the CCTV picture out in the public domain, andy? //
What on earth makes you think I have access to that information Talbot?
You, and I, and everyone else, has access to the same information which is through the media.
The difference is, I am not jumping to baffling conclusions about the police approach to this case.

Talbot - // I bet it was a call from the public that nailed him and from what I have heard about the area that call was probably from a Muslim (note that is the first time I have mention Muslim) //
Bet away - it's free, so fill your boots.
With regard to your first mention of the word 'Muslim' - hurrah, or congratulations, or well done, or whatever else you think you deserve for it.

The reluctance of some police forces to prosecute some serious sex crimes committed by some groups for whatever reason - let's leave the phrase "social cohesion" aside for the moment - was proved conclusively by the Jay report (2014?) on the Rotherham scandal and futher confirmed by the evidence given by senior South Yorkshire Police personnel before the parliamentary committee investigating the scandal.
This "reluctance" is not limited to the South Yorkshire Police force as those of you who watched the docudrama "Three Girls" will know.
On what grounds exactly, I wonder, are certain posters denying this fact?

Well, not really. My post is offered in terms of observation… nothing that anyone who’s actually been looking has any excuse for missing – unless they spotted something they’d rather not acknowledge.
