No, I don't think so. Saudi won't listen to women and there won't be any men in that country who will champion their cause

Highly unlikely to I would have thought.
I think it's madness for the paper to tell the world she's living in Montreal. Not true hopefully.
Not a chance.
The UK, and US kowtow to the horrendous regime in Riyadh Saudi Arabia , because we are seduced by their vast wealth.
So we forgive/turn a blind Eye or excuse their many atrocities. Terrible that the UK has been reduced to grovelling at the feet of such contemptible lowlifes, but money talks.
I did think that Canada would be the best place for her. I`m not surprised that she has ended up there.
Me too but should the world be told where she is 237?
Probably not but she has kind of shot herself in the foot by making her situation so public. She needed the publicity to help her but it's a double edged sward as she could now be a target for Islamists.

Not a good idea imo, but too late now.
Well, I guess she is only 18 years of age and she was just kicking back at the system and trying to get away from it.

do you think many more women will try and escape these barbarous lands now the example has been set?
Just seen my typos - *sword*
^ No I don't because they are not in a position to
Maybe I'm being cynical, but the 'Canada' sweatshirt she wore just made me think she is probably in New Zealand.
Why would anyone want to go to live in New Zealand though (no disrespect)
TTT - what do you think?

I think that many more women will find the courage to get away from these barbarous places and apply for asylum in any safe country. I think such cases would be considered genuine too.
"Why would anyone want to go to live in New Zealand though (no disrespect) " - not sure why you feel the need to disrespect NZ, it's a whole lot nicer than many of these middle eastern nations where women fear for their lives for the most trivial of "offences".
Once (last year) I spent an hour or so at work trying to protect a Saudi lady from her husband who was trying to beat her up (he had already given her a bloody nose) The poor woman had nowhere to turn. I did sit her down and asked her whether her husband had hit her but she denied it. They always deny it. I would have loved to have taken her back to the UK but that was never going to happen

How Twitter saved a Saudi woman

See... twitface ain't that bad is it?

I would imagine that she would have got her message across if Twitter didn't exist
How?

Without Twitter I think she would most probably be dead now.
