Well done, Talbot: you laid the trap and a few fell into it.

And well done, Mamya, for your suspicion that the OP was up to no good.

The malicious intent behind this smear and the grossness (not to mention injustice - but, hey, they're only Trump supporters, right?) of the libel is explained here:

I wouldn't have said I was suspicious as much as I wanted to see a bigger picture than the first close up video (in particular) showed.
vetuste - // Well done, Talbot: you laid the trap and a few fell into it. //

Is that what News is being reduced to - one AB'er 'setting a trap' so another AB'er can be pleased with themselves for being in on it?

Oh dear ...
How do the people who endorse the new legal principle that the presumption of innocence should be suspended if the accused are on the wrong side of the political debate (as in Brett Kavanaugh) justify it, I wonder?

andy, no I didn't need to ask, you clearly haven't bothered.
Well, that must be the answer because the other option is that you have read and watched but it has all been too complicated for you to understand.

Pick the one you like, and we'll go with that.

The OP isn't about trapping fellow ABers (though I haven't got anything against that) it was more about getting a reaction on what the MSM put forward.

As someone who doesn;t do that, i can't answer your question - maybe someone who does, and reads your question, will be along with a response for you.

I'll be interested to see what they have to say.

You'd need to address that point to vetuste - the person who thinks you are in the trapping business.

I did
Who else did you think I was addressing?
Not saying it was a trap for ignorant left-wing half-wits.
But AB would be a great place to cast your bait if it was.

Since you didn;t make it clear who you were addressing, it could be anyone - clarity is king on here.
Spicerack - // Not saying it was a trap for ignorant left-wing half-wits. //

From my experience on here, being an ignorant half-wit is not the exclusive preserve of the left-wing!

Are you here just to ruing the thread again, andy?

If not tell me how you came up with the last paragraph in your first post.

The confusion lies in the fact that no-one knows who you are addressing with this post.
This could go to a tie-break.
Talbot - // Are you here just to ruing the thread again, andy?

I have never deliberately attempted to ruin any thread, ever, and I take offence at your suggesion that I am doing so 'again' - so I am not minded to explain my thinking on any aspect of my original post, if that is your view on why I posted it.
Well I'll certainly admit to being guilty of judging a book by its cover (and of being gullible). I saw this yesterday but only looked at the picture and read the text- and I'm pleased I was so wrong. OK?
