Yes, still they come. But how can it be stopped? Particularly once they get past half way. I'd agree that continually towing them back to the middle or not rescuing them or might help but we'd need to board the boat to check for passports first. It's the traffickers we need to put out of business. I can't see France being prepared to take these people with no questions asked

They're leaving a perfectly safe, stable European country to come here illegally with the hope of reaching the terminally gullible who will help them in their "struggle".

Erm I think you have deliberately twisted this. As you well know, and so do the vast majority of leavers it is the swathes of East European countries coming in that caused the problem with the EU.

Will they be sent back - will they heck. Free Council house (probably in centre of London where we cant afford to live), a pocket load of money, free health care and setup for life no doubt.

Will more come, of course - until we get a backbone and lock them up at the very least.
