Perhaps one has to go to extreme measures in times of danger.
In World War 2 all children carried a gas mask to school, but not one child was gassed, unlike today when more and more kids are killed or injured in stabbings.
I'm sure if parents feel the need for their children to wear stab proof vests on the way to school or even whilst at school then they will provide them privately. I can't imagine the education system dishing em out.
I didn’t think the cartoon funny, but I don't think it’s meant to be. Rather than inappropriate, it's simply a harshly graphic indictment of the appalling escalation in knife crime.
My parents provide me with a school mac to save me from getting wet, walking back and forward to school.
Today in some areas, I am sure it would be a good idea for caring parents to provide their children with stab vest, so as to protect them from being stabbed.
