It was announced on the BBC London news tonight that the Mayor of London has acceded to the wishes of Muslims in London to grant millions of pounds to assist in the security of Mosques. No doubt as a result of the attack on two Mosques in Christchurch. Whilst it would be abhorrent for a similar attack on any place of worship in the UK it would be irresponsible to ignore that particular threat. That is a given.
Does any one believe the Muslim Council of Great Britain will actually meet any security measures suggested half way if their security is to be subsidised by Londoners?
It would be horribly ironic should a 'being' enter a Mosque disguised head to foot in a Burka carrying a couple of MAC 10 or Scorpion miniature under their garb and perpetrate a similar massacre. Will Muslim women be allowed to continue to wear this hideous dress or,indeed, subject themselves to a strict body search when entering a Mosque? If not. So called increased security will be a sham.

My arrogance is directed at people who think that a woman dressed in a dustbin bag does it from free choice, or, willing or not, that it symbolises her contempt for the society she's living in.
spath, you don't understand what you're reading. Read it again - and think about it.
you have no right or knowledge about me or my thoughts to tell me that Naomi. Maybe you have no understanding of my point. Try re-read the entire thread again and then think about it.
"My arrogance is directed at people who think that a woman dressed in a dustbin bag does it from free choice, or, willing or not, that it symbolises her contempt for the society she's living in."

I'm saying some of them do, if you think i'm wrong, then you're in fact wrong.
spath, do your posts not reflect your thoughts?
Not always. If they did then this discussion would have been unable to be had maturely, because i would have retaliated to the comments towards myself by cursing and being offensive to try and shed light on my point. Instead i have to repeat it multiple times whilst answering moot questions such as this one.
spath, I'll try again. Do your posts on this subject reflect your thoughts on this subject?
OK i'll try one more time also... Not always.
No surprise that many of us don't know what you're talking about then.
Bless, you still don't understand my points.

So why are you arguing against me if you've no idea what i'm saying? Do you argue for the sake of it?
spath, no, I don't argue for the sake of it but it's helpful in any discussion if one's opponent can support his argument.
You mean support my opinion, on if the Burka should be banned or not? I'm pretty sure i've done that. Multiple times.
No .... you've only given your opinion.
I've actually linked, and quoted multiple sources. So no, I've given facts also.

Really starting to think you actually should take my advice at 10:31
hurr durr maybe if we ban the burka no more school shootingsings either hurr durr cus it's only the fact people can be identified which would act as a deterrent for raving loonies to murder people.
hurr durr? Best I leave you to get on with it.
Spath, rearrange the following:

Stop Hole bottom digging
Im not in a hole and i’m not digging lol
Not digging, or any other gainful pursuit.

I need a small area prepared for slabbing, keep you out of mischief for a couple of days.
