'The march comes as the pro-Brexit March to Leave, which started in Sunderland a week ago, continues towards London.
Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage re-joined the March to Leave in Linby, near Nottingham, on Saturday morning telling around 200 Brexit supporters that Mrs May had reduced the nation "to a state of humiliation".'
I realised that TTT but I just wanted to give the more recent estimate. It's not an exact science anyway and no doubt the opposing sides will produce differing figures.
If you look at the heat map of the - ahem - 4.3 million signees it reflects pretty accurately what you’d expect. ie much greater response in areas known to favour Remain. Which suggests that while I’d be amazed if no one had “cheated” that it’s largely accurate. Dubious atomated activity would, unless it’s amazingly clever, show odd regional trends.
Assuming the figures more or less add up; there’ll be people abroad as well not covered by that map and I don’t know how that is catered for offhand.
