It is many resignations in a short time. From the start of her Reign she has struggled to keep her party together over Europe. This has been a recurring theme for Conservative leaders, but the Referendum really marked the division within the Party.

245 Labour MPs - 7 are pro brexit.

It is true to say Labour are split on EU membership, but it is a very small split. Hardly an Albotros around Corbyn’s neck, more of a Sparrow.

It is not the split in Labour that is the albatross around JC's neck but rather that the majority favours Remain, in opposition to his own beliefs as voiced over the past three decades.
