I'm a fan of Boots, I like browsing around there and buy my make-up and hair products from them, plus I use the pharmacy. Hope my town centre one doesn't close, but as we've lost M & S and TJ's, I wouldn't be surprised, sadly.
Frankly I'm amazed they have lasted this long, every thing is over priced all the shops are like a sauna. Doesn't matter how many people are at the pharmacy counter the staff make you wait, total douche de merde. The final nail in the coffin is pharmacy2U.
I used to use them because they were right across the road from our office. But they were not reliable, not picking up scripts from doctor's surgery, not having drugs ready to be picked up and wrong dosage of drugs.
I use a local chain now and they are reliable and nearby.
I agree. Can't see them lasting too long "what does one go to Boots for?)
I forecast that W H Smith will not be too far behind. What's going to happen to the Post Office Counters that have relocated into them is anybody's guess
What I find irritating about WH Smith is that all their stationery products are inscribed with their name, I've asked for a price reduction for advertising for them, but to no avail.
I don't mind if pencils bear the manufacturer's name e.g. 'Faber Castell' - (who not only make them, but invented the bloody things) but it annoys me to see their shop name every time I pick one up.
I hope they are reading this, because that's why they lost me as a customer.

Now let's be serious about this very important matter;
If you buy a car and on the front is a badge showing say Honda or Jaguar or whatever I'm sure you accept this, because you are a reasonable man and they have manufactured the car, but if the badge said only, 'Honest Joe's Car mart' on the front, would you be happy with that?
