Imagine for example if it's a 1% victory to Remain, but on a lower turnout than the previous referendum. It's not at all difficult to see how vast swathes of the country would deny the legitimacy of the second vote.
I appreciate we're all extremely bored of Brexit but... this is what the country voted for. This thing was never going to be simple or quick - you cannot undo 40 years of integration at the snap of your fingers. We are stuck with this albatross around our necks now until it either gets worse or peters out.

Any Tory nodding it through wil lbe as complicit as May in bringing an end to the tory Party for the next 20 years or maybe even forever.
Wipe-outs in all coming elections, May will certainly go down in history.
No point in having any more referendums, they would find a way of backing out if they didnt like the answer no matter what was committed to.

What has happened to the 'Great' in Britain, we must now be the laughing stock of the World.
We were once the envy of the World and most countries copied our democracy, Law and spoke our language and now we go cap in hand, bowing and scrapping to our once sworn enemies, France and Germany.
Now we should drain the swamp of those antidemocratic politicians, by not voting for them at the next election.

Oh dear that old chestnut again?
It was a suggestion, not a pledge, for what the money that we hand over to the EU could be better spent on.
