Vigilante Law Does Win
http:// hotworl dreport .com/wo rld-new s/somal i-gang- rapists -deport ation-w as-stop ped-by- plane-p assenge rs/
As usual the great UK judicial system has let down the people they are entrusted to protect.
This scum is walking free on bail in the North with an electronic tag.
If it wasn't for a plane load of ignorant do gooders he would of been back where he belongs in Somalia with all the rest of his raping associates.
Do the authorities believe an electronic ankle tag will prevent him raping again? His victim ,who was 16yrs old when raped by him and his associates is less than happy and who can blame her?
The immigration system should use military aircraft to fly these deportation missions as it appears the cost of a delayed civilian flight out weighs UK justice.

"Did the other passengers know what he was convicted of?" Who knows? They may just be general busybodies with massive entitlement issues. They saw fit to interfere with a lawful extradition so it's safe to conclude that they side with the criminals be they rapists, shoplifters or fraudsters. Surely you're not going to justify their actions for the next...

//Did the other passengers know what he was convicted of? //
ummmm
Probably not. The point of my OP was to ask whether the protests of those in ignorance should override due process. The passengers were allowed to stay on the aircraft. They should of belted up and look forward to their holiday.
Back in the days of the troubles we had to fly out to Aldegrove in RAF and Army aircraft because prisoners were not allowed to travel on civilian aircraft in handcuffs ( CAA rules). They should use military transports in future
The passengers do not need to know why he is being deported.

//Retro - do you know how tags work?//
I have a reasonable knowledge of their limitations and that they can be tampered with and removed by the 'tagee'
If a signal is transmitted to the contracted supplier of the tag that a tag has been tampered with or removed they have to visit the address within 4 hours where the 'tagee' resides. You can travel half way acoss the UK in 4 hours moins tag .
//4.Tagging is not tracking. It does not provide continuous information on the whereabouts of the subject. An alert is generated at the supplier’s monitoring centre if the defendant leaves the curfew address during the curfew period set by the court, or removes or tampers with the tag.//

//As I read the report it says he is being held in a detention centre?//
//His bail conditions require him to live at a specified address in the North West and report to an immigration centre once a week. He is also believed to have been fitted with an electronic tag.//
// maybe they didn't want to be on a plane with a convict,//
It should not be their choice as to who their fellow travellers are and why they are travelling.

Retro yes maybe he was on bail while awaiting deportation, but according to Daily Mail report quoted this is current situation, not trying to defend the evil bstard at all, he should have been long gone.
From report
" Ahmed is now believed to be in an immigration detention centre while officials try to place him on another flight out of the UK, but this process could take months particularly if his lawyers use his temporary reprieve as an opportunity to appeal against his deportation."
