Put em in the luggage hold instead?
The H.O. should purchase a dedicated C130 for the immigration service.No need to adhere to CAA Regs re handcuffing prisoners/detainees etc. Just go round dropping off a plane load here and there. Minimum amount of armed escort required.

I don't see why they are put on commercial aircraft, when we have plenty of military transport aircraft.
Mr aog
That is what we used to bring back certain people back from N.I. a few years back. No comforts on those flights.

A C130 Hercules is the current RAF Transport aircraft. Ideal for trnsporting detainees and a one off investment much cheaper than detention centres in the long run.
Here we go again A/Bs Heroes.
As fast as possible.
I think a lot of these delays deporting foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers are due to the never ending chain of appeals these people are allowed to make via their money grubbing legal aid lawyers. If we must, allow one appeal against deportation, and if that fails off they go. I would actually advocate that a deportation decision is not subject to any judicial review and once the Home Secretary has decided they go that's it. If necessary via military transport aircraft with no nosey snowflake fellow travellers to interfere or interevene - but I know sadly it will never happen.
A while back you were asking why they couldn't be sent back. Now we find they are, you're complaining about the method. Sheesh.
With you on that Gladeian.

How should we send them back? Well iff they agree to not kick off then I have no problem with them going on a commercial flight with some 'comforts'. However kick off or dont agree then off the plane and straight to an RAF base and stuck in the hold of some plane.

I suspect most would not kick off.
A very close colleague of mine (ex rugby player) ws a Immigration deportation escort officer. He went all over the world travelling in commercial aircraft. He never had much trouble with his deportees kicking off.He generally fascillitated them to a long sleep should they start.
He gave up the job eventually as it interfered with his family life and he noticed that a lot of tin pot third world destinations didn't wan't their scum back and refused to accept them. He was threatened himself if he didn't return to the UK with his charge on the next vailable return flight.

/// sounds expensive. ///

Not at all, for the price of a parachute, it would save landing and then when they are refused entry, having to take off again with them still on board and for the UK to keep.
the same way they came, be it an over crowded dinghy, in the back of a lorry or clinging on to eurostar which ever way is cheapest after all the majority probably didn't pay much to get here.
Lol agree with paul.
